Chalkboard Printables {DIY and FREE DOWNLOAD}

Happy Monday everybody!

My husband and I have been updating our bedroom with some fresh paint, new decorations, and some DIY projects.

We painted our bedroom with some cool colors from Dunn Edwards: Porpoise and Soft Mint

We took down our bathroom vanity mirror and replaced it with two separate vanity mirrors. We also replaced our large vanity light with two separate lights over our two new mirrors. We also went to Target and Home Goods and went a little crazy! Charge it, as I always say!

After redecorating with new frames and artwork, I had to figure out which artwork would go into my new frames. To keep with the look, I decided to print out some chalkboard quotes that I made on my computer. I took the quotes from one of my favorite country songs, Tim McGraw's "You're My Best Friend." You can download them too, FOR FREE! Just click on my page "Free Stuff" and click on the picture. It fits an 8x10 frame that will hang horizontally. I'll be designing some more printables soon to add to my "Free Stuff" page.

You can always make the printables yourself by finding a chalkboard background and downloading FREE chalkboard fonts from DaFont.com.

Here's a chalkboard background you can use. Save it to your computer.

Open up PowerPoint and set your page to the correct measurement. You can do that by clicking on File and then Page Setup.

Insert the measurement you would like to use.

Once your page is set, click Insert, then Picture from File. Find your chalkboard image that you saved earlier. You can also drag the chalkboard image onto the PowerPoint slide.

Once the image is placed, click the Text Box icon and add your text box. Write whatever you want on your chalkboard image. To make it more genuine, go to DaFont.com and download some chalkboard fonts for FREE.
