Quick and Simple Halloween Decor {DIY}

Fall is my favorite season. I love the colors, holidays, and decorations this time of year brings. I went a little crazy decorating my house for fall this year. I was very excited! I made some cute Halloween decorations that can be used inside or outside for Halloween.

Mummy, Frankenstein, and Pumpkin Pots

They’re quick and easy to make!

You’ll need:
Acrylic paint (orange, black, green, white) and paint brushes

Black paint pen

Clay pots

Googly eyes (optional)

Tacky glue (optional)

Paint the rim of each pot black.

For your Frankenstein pot, paint the rest of the pot green.
For your pumpkin pot, paint the rest of the pot orange.
For your mummy (or ghost) pot, paint the rest of the pot white.

Frankenstein:
Once your pot is dry, you can use a black paint pen to draw eyebrows. Use your tacky glue to adhere some googly eyes to your Frankenstein. Add some stitches and a squiggly smile and you’ve got your Frankenstein! You can plant some real flowers into this pot, or fill it with artificial flowers or tiny pumpkins.

Pumpkin:
Once your pot is dry, use the black paint pen to draw triangle eyes, and upside down triangle nose, and a cute, crooked smile. Fill it with something fun!

Mummy or Ghost:
Once it has dried, use your black paint pen to draw lines for the bandages. Draw eyes coming out of the bandages. If you want to draw a ghost, just use your black paint pen to draw two large black eyes and a large mouth.

Once you have finished your crafts, display your new Halloween decorations!

Happy crafting and Happy Halloween!

Marine :)
